Harrogate is short of facilities for Muslims.  The last census showed there were over 300 Muslims in Harrogate, and yet the only prayer facilities are at the hospital.  We have no local halal meat supplier, and no meeting rooms or other facilities.

The aim of this organisation is to provide a point of reference for Muslims in Harrogate, and thus to generate sufficient interest to organise a regular meeting, and Friday prayers.
